Re: What is this?
Decided long ago to disable traffic info completely, because the info is not accurate and it can make a complete mess of carefully created routes. Yepp, same here - as they had tried me two times to take insane re-routings, one of them about 800km! This was at the time of COVID-19, when my Zumo XT ...

Re: Firmware update for Group Ride Radio????
Its right - the Zumo XT is also 'Group Radio capable, even if you never bought or installed the additional hardware. If you want further firmware updates (if they ever come!?), you'll need to install this one. If you believe, that there were no other firmware updates coming, you can leave it alone ...

Re: Basecamp Zumo XT compatibility
jfheath - your answer completely makes sense! ;) For sure my thought was so that your post is meant in exact this way and i just want to verify that! I only was talking about it, because especially in the german spoken forums i always read about 'using the Explore app with the Garmin Zumo XT' which ...

Re: Basecamp Zumo XT compatibility
jfheath The XT is designed to use the Explore app for route planning... Hmmm, are you really(!) sure about this? Garmin itself says, the Zumo XT IS NOT compatible with the Explore app! I discussed this on a austrian motorbike fair with a spokesman of Garmin Germany - he told me, that the Zumo XT is ...

Re: Screenshot question...
No, as far as i know only possible via a file explorer - 'normal' full reset also does not delete them! Maybe the only solution to do this without a file explorer is a via flashing the firmware with the hidden start-up menu, but i can't say for sure as i've never used this...

Re: Export Import waypoint/routes on SD Card
Ah, ok! Still learning new things about my Zumo XT... :D I always thought, the Zumo XT could only import waypoints/routes/tracks from the sdcard, which have the same name and from the same place as when saved with Basecamp! When i get it right after your posting, it seem's that the Zumo XT scans the ...

Re: Export Import waypoint/routes on SD Card
jfheath - this is also a point, why i don't get the sense of the above actions of copying the gpx-files in a personal order to the sdcard of the Zumo XT!? Did the Zumo XT see all this single gpx-files with personal names? I would think, the Zumo XT will only import 'his' gpx-file in 'his' folder ...

Re: Export Import waypoint/routes on SD Card
Peobody and jfheath - I've stated in my post, i always(!) put my waypoints/routes/tracks onto the sdcard exactly for the reasons you do! But i do it within Basecamp! I don't understand why so many people plan in Basecamp and than export the files on the pc and than transfer it from the pc to the ...

Re: Export Import waypoint/routes on SD Card
I will never understood why doing so - why not just transferring directly from Basecamp to the Zumo XT, when the unit is connected to the computer!? Also there is no 'File Transfer Mode' on the Zumo XT, because it is Android based! You connect it to the computer and it will be displayed as a unique ...
