Re: Tread Changes Exisiting Routes - Shaping Point Issues
smfollen This matches what @FrankB discovered with the XT when we were trying to get to grips with the weird routing behaviour. True. In fact I created programs that were able to clear the subclasses in GPX files (Set it to '00ff') Both Java (works on Mac and Windows) and Delphi (Windows) versions....

Re: Acquiring Satellites issue
That’s it. I have had enough of this crap Zumo XT. Too bad. I like my XT a lot. You could try this: Settings/Traffic Traffic (Compatible traffic etc....) => Disable Optimize Route => On Request Traffic Alerts => (Off) Now perform a cold start. Hold the power button until it asks: Turn off the devic...

Re: XT Routing problems
I'll try it but then I lose route preview. It wasn't meant to be a final solution. Just to find out if it is related. Another thought. Could it be that you've updated the maps, and not recalculated the route? It might be worth a try to recalculate the route in Basecamp and send it again to the XT. ...

@rbentnail
You could try to switch the Route Preview off.
Settings/Driver Assistence/Route Preview
I remember the spinning seems to be related to this. See: viewtopic.php?t=2488

Re: XT not flagging closed roads
The Xt is not reliable when it comes to roadblocks.
If I want to be sure I check Google Maps.

Re: XT2 vs XT - RUT Testing
Peobody Interesting. When I moved from the Zumo 220 to the Zumo XT, I decided to have the map also set to North-Up. I was used to that from navigating in my Car. In situations where you have to deviate from the (planned) route it helps a great deal to judge if the recalculated route makes sense. As...

Re: Windows 11 Beta will increase limit for FAT32
Ah now I understand.
The 4Gb limit for files will indeed not be removed. So this is not a solution for large maps, like CN Europa. They still need to be split up.
This will only address the fact that a card > 32Gb can not be used at all, when formatted with Windows.

@sussamb
Not sure what you mean. My XT is capable of handling a 64 Gb sdcard. But it needs to be formatted with a 3rd party tool on Windows, like Rufus. Or insert the card while the XT is powered on.
