Windows 11 Beta will increase limit for FAT32
According to this post MS will increase the limit for FAT32 from 32GB to 2TB. If my understanding is correct that could make life easier when formatting large SD cards for the Zumo. Re: Java program to fix the routing behaviour of the XT(2).
My "yes" conjecture is WRONG!!!! I just did a share to my SD card. I then edited the route name in the resulting .gpx file and imported it. The imported route shows up in Trip Planner under Imported Trips and not Saved Trips. That doesn't surprise me. I noticed that when you share a saved...

Re: Unexpected reboot and required route restart
I was thinking like this. As long as the Zumo gets its power via the Bike it works fine. But when it goes into standby, and relies on the power from the satnav battery if fails. There are ways to get more info from the state of the battery, 1) From the developer menu. https://www.zumouserforums.co.u...

Re: Unexpected reboot and required route restart
I could have been clearer. I should have read better! My Xt is not wired directly to the battery, but on the ignition. So if I turn off the bike, the XT also goes into standby, When I turn on the bike again, the zumo restarts and an active route is resumed. Is that also your setup? I ask because it...

Re: Unexpected reboot and required route restart
Anyone else run into this problem and/or find a solution? I dont recall the XT ever rebooting while driving. But it did happen to the builtin satnav of my car, after updating the map. What I'm trying to say: Maybe it's due to a map update that did not complete succesfully. If the error remains you ...

Re: Fuel Gauge Setting ?
rbentnail It looks like you missed this part of my post: Note: You dont have to check: 'Up Ahead Places'. If you do it will show icons of the things you selected on the map while you're driving. This is the screen where you setup the Map Layers/Up ahead display. Uad_setup.png It has 2 functions. Th...

Re: Fuel Gauge Setting ?
I agree with people that dont use the Zumo's Fuel Gauge. Dont need that, when the bike and I know better. But there's something else I need to know that the Zumo CAN help with. And that is: "Where are the fuel stations up ahead in the route, and how far are they?" I can do approx. 250 kms ...
