Loading routes in Google Maps, to check for road blocks
In the past years I have had my share of road blocks. On average it will happen 3 times a day that a road is completely blocked, and you have to find a detour. My experience is from The Netherlands and Germany, but what I read in this forum, that it is a common problem. Enabling traffic on the Satna...

Re: Calimoto GPX Route that works for Garmin XT
I agree with FxWheels that Basecamp is the best when you use a PC/Laptop. Please also look at the excellent document that Jfheath prepared. 'Zumo XT and Basecamp, everything that you need to know' on top of this forum. What you said about the XT directing you to the middle of a field, typically happ...

Re: Calimoto GPX Route that works for Garmin XT
Hello Omobono I like Calimoto. Because it offers a lot of interesting routes, at least in the Netherlands and Germany where I live. But because of the limitations (see below) I always recreate the route in Basecamp, and some tools of Javawa, to get it working correctly on the Zumo XT. Limitations: -...

Re: Voice navigation gone
First of all. I live in the Netherlands, so things could be different here compared to your location. In some Dutch forums I found that spoken navigation does not work when MULTIPLE routable maps are activated. The TOPO maps are not routable, a quick googling on 'TTSTD-British-Isles' shows that the ...

@phenderson
To begin with I would untick the 2 'TTSD British Isles' maps. The rest I recognise, and have never caused problems.

Re: Voice navigation gone
I don't think that program will work for the XT, as the XT only supports MTP. And Javawa doesnt support MTP.
A pitty because Javawa has great tools. (Like RTWtool to unglitch)

Re: Step by step demo how to use RTWTool to remove the ‘glitches’ from a route.
I'm familiar with the Basecamp tools. And yes if it were only 2 shaping points it would be easier to use them. But suppose you're planning a 4 days trip and each trip has about 50 shaping points? 2 side notes: 1) When you move a point with the 'move tool' it will not snap (or should I say lock?) to ...

Re: Zumo XT not calculating nearest entry point on route
I have documented how to put the Via/Shaping points on the road. See: viewtopic.php?t=1868
