Re: Data transfer between ZumoXT and Android
Simply connecting a cable between the XT and phone did not work with my Galaxy S10 because the phone did not recognize the XT's MTP mode. I've had very limited success using an app from the Play Store to add that capability: USB Driver for Android Devices . I also needed the OTG adapter that came ...

Re: Viewing GPX files on iphone
Gaia is often mentioned as a popular app for Iphone navigation.
It supports gpx imports of tracks, but I would be doubtful about using a Garmin route.
I do not use Gaia or any Apple product, so caveat emptor.

Re: No direction sounds from 550
Be sure that only one routable map is active for your location. Usually that will be City Navigator.

Re: Duplicate multiple waypoints to a different list?
Yes, I was thinking about and editing my answer, but meanwhile I think you found the advantage of working from a duplicate list.

Re: Duplicate multiple waypoints to a different list?
Try duplicating the entire original route list, agreeing to duplicate all points, routes and tracks. That leaves your original list and points intact and separate from the new list. Open the duplicated route, select (shift-click) only the portion you want to re-use, copy, and paste to your new list ...

Re: Duplicate multiple waypoints to a different list?
I don't think you can Duplicate to another list, but I would think Send To (or drag-n-drop) to the new list would work as well to make the points available in the new route. Changes to the point in either list would apply in both lists. Duplicate creates a separate entry in the database and appends ...

Re: No direction sounds from 550
Similar issue with an XT was recently solved by pairing as a phone instead of a headset:

Re: Media from phone but no nav comments
Took a minute to find anything about your headset, it's actually a Nex x X-Com 2. My Senas have somehow always established different volume levels for different sources (phone, intercom, music, and navigation), even though most are coming through my Zumo. But the source has to be active while you ...

Re: How do you preserve a track's shape when adding waypoints?
In Garmin-speak, a Waypoint is only a set of coordinates. The shape of the route is changing because you are making the waypoint a part of the route. Instead, in Basecamp, leave it as a standalone point, Open it and assign a proximity distance , then transfer it to the GPS along with the route. At ...

Re: Combined BC Map and Dialogue table.
The table will stay open, but hidden if the Map occupies the main window, and vice versa. I was hoping to have the Route dialogue box and Map both visible on the one screen, Split possibly. Thank you. Mikey The route table always has a separate window, there is no way to show it as a frame within ...
