Re: BMW navitagor 6 problems with straight lines between waypoints
I don't have any European routes but it might be more helpful if you could upload the original track from Google. Tell us the places in sequence you actually want to stop. Re: new 396 power cable arrived
Maybe. I've read of several cases where reversing polarity did not work, but did no damage. I do not remember if those were the new fuseless converters or the older fused ones.

Re: new 396 power cable arrived
My XT uses a similar (same?) converter box to supply 5V to the mount. I think early 39x and XT models had a 2A fuse and holder on the 12V input. Later models like my 2021 XT have electronic circuit protection built in, so no fuse is needed. In the event of a short circuit or 12V input polarity ...

Re: Zumo 395 LM connection issue.
I don't think my XT will connect to two different headsets at the same time. A headset and a phone is no problem, but I don't see anything in the manual to suggest that using two headsets with the XT simultaneously is a possibility. I can share Zumo music to our other Sena headset, but the music is ...

I think I would try using a different, freshly FAT32 formatted, SD card anyway.

Re: Route points: Some non-alerting, some alerting
My guidelines for route points in intersections: Shaping points placed in intersections are always fine if I will not be turning. Shaping points in turning intersections are OK if they will never be changed to via points. Shaping points placed in intersections with turns, and later changed to via ...
