Re: Cannot enter address or any data
Hoping someone out there has a clue to my ZUMO 660 not able to accept keystrokes and displaying the No Data Available message. Garmin has abandoned this expensive model. Headed for the trash.

Re: Cannot enter address or any data
"The USB cable is providing power, but apparently not data. Try different cables or ports. Also, some newer, faster, computers have issues with older USB devices that can sometimes be corrected by connecting through a USB hub. I've had similar issues transferring large amounts of data to my XT or ...

Re: SD Card questions
Yes please Dan. I've now put my maps into main memory and removed the SD card. I needed to just use the UK instead of the whole of Europe in order to get the maps to fit. I read on here that just having an SD card fitted slowed the Zumo Thanks danham, I haven't been riding as of late, life & snow ...

Re: Waypoint overload
Thanks jfheath, trying to grasps what you are relaying here. I'll enumerate them, as such; 1. "I notice that if I use the route creating tool to create a route, it does tend to give you points from its database" Should I take it "route creating tool" is the little icon with 3 boxes connected by ...

Re: SD Card questions
What rbentnail said. Having my pre-planned routes on the SD card allows lots of flexibility and prevents confusion on long trips. Quick example: on a card you can sort the order routes appear in and load only the ones you need each day into active memory on the 660. This saves a bunch of scrolling ...

Re: SD Card questions
Does it work? Have no idea. Home repairs, etc have taken over my life. Have to satisfy my GPS habit by trying to design and make a prototype sun visor as I cannot read the screen in bright light. Not that I look at it much at all, Too unsafe taking my aging eyeballs off the road. Letcha know if I ...

Re: Waypoint overload
Thanks guys for that incredible research and info from your experience. Will have to read it over a few times to fully grasp. Will also pass on to my friend, from whom I got the 660, so we can work together to hash this all out. He is also having some issues with this type of hangup.
