Re: Phone call quality

OK. So while I was doing more logging for Garmin, I tested it when I was paired to channel 2 and it worked - no issues. I added in the Garmin Drive app and it still works. As JRA mentioned above, this may be the way Bluetooth behaves. It is pretty amazing how it frequency hops across 80 channels on ...

Re: Phone call quality

Here is the lame reply I received: Thank you for contacting Garmin International. We are reviewing the issue you reported with people on the other end of your calls not hearing you completely. To troubleshoot the issue, please try the troubleshooting steps in the FAQ's below. Troubleshooting a ...

PJ1050

Please report it to Garmin if you are having this issue. The more people that complain, the more they will take us seriously - and that it is not just a one off problem or a single headset manufacturer issue.

Re: Phone call quality

I initially received a reply from Garmin Tech Support asking for more details. They then sent me a procedure to log data that had me start logging then re-pair my devices and then make a call. I stopped data logging at the end of the call and sent them the binary files. They got back to me today and ...

Re: Phone call quality

I emailed them with all the details too. We'll see if they think it is a problem on their side, or if they will point their finger at the headset manufacturers (probably the latter).

Re: Phone call quality

I am wondering if it is a conflict with having the phone connected to the headset as well as the XT I do not have my phone paired with my Freecom and I still have the problem. I am running 6.20 on the XT. If I connect the phone to the Freecom and make a call, it works just fine. So we have Cardo ...

Re: Phone call quality

You can add another to the list. When initiating a call from the XT, I get a crackling noise that makes it difficult for the person on the other the other end to understand what I am saying. This is a Cardo Freecom 1 that is 3 years old. I have the latest firmware installed. Streamed music from my ...

Re: XT / Iphone11 - phone call support disabled

Delete the pairing between the phone and Sena and only pair the Sena to the XT. That should work.

Re: Garmin Drive App - Battery Drain

I tried to Force Stop the Drive App but it ignores my request to stop. The only option I have is to uninstall it. This is on Android 11.

Garmin Drive App - Battery Drain

Greetings again, I installed the Garmin Drive app on my Android phone and it all works fine. While not using Drive, I noticed my battery draining faster than normal. I turned off "Allow Background Activity" for Drive and it still remains the app that uses the most power of all apps - and it's not ...
