Makes sense...

Tried it yesterday, still doesn't work.

Spotify has been upgrade a zillion times for Android since I last tried it, and I've changed my phone, so a newer version of Android, Must try it again, will report back once I have.

My 590 (with 595 firmware) isn't a Travel Edition (in fact, I've never heard of those!) but I have 3 regions (Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand) installed on it.

I've updated three 590 (all with 595 firmware) to the new maps happily, but I'm still on GE 7.19.0.0 (which GE claims is up to date, so maybe there's a problem with 7.20 as I'm not being offered it...)

I'm in St Fillans, and I have a battery you can try if you like - I replaced my 660 some time back so I have one of the original 660 batteries. Not brilliant, but certainly worth a try if you are stuck..

Might be worth asking these people - they say they replace the seal when they replace the touch screen:

Mine was still saying up to date when I checked in v7.18.4, but I d/l from Garmin and installed.

Note that v17.9.0 continues to run happily on Windows 8.1.

Works happily for me on W8.1.

2024.20 is being offered to me in Express now.

[Later] And successfully installed to my 2x 590 upgraded to 595 using 7.18.3.0 on Windows 8.1.
