Thanks for your reply. I don't understand what you mean by an "unpicked Saved Place" to show on the map.

How do waypoints from a route end up in "My Favourites"? On a recent trip, I had 10 waypoint on the route and when finished, I look in Favourites and all the waypoints were there.

and is it possible to remove the Middle East and Africa maps from the device
