Re: Using XT2 on XT handlebar power
Garmin cautions against it. They indicate that it is a loose fit on the XT mount and you run the risk of the XT2 falling off the XT mount. No more work than it is to install a mount, I'd personally replace the mount and charging cable to take advantage of the standard 12V power into the XT2, and to ...

Using XT2 on XT handlebar power
I fitted the charging/docking point on my bike for my previous XT and want to re-use it for the XT2. What repercussions are there for doing that, will it fit? I know that the XT2 has a higher charging ability hence the new mount, but I'm not bothered by that, I just want to know if I can use the old ...

map detail, before setting off to Spain?
Hi all, whilst my XT is being repaired/replaced, I needed another so bought the XT2. The UI is way more complicated than the XT and i've hit the first block, I think. I'm hoping to get some routes in Spain into the XT2 before going and went into the map, but it appears to only show major roads when ...

Thanks, tried that, there's just a fault with the screen.
It went back, now have a XT2, what a nightmare, it's nothing like the XT in terms of usability-so much more complicated.

Re: Display and other weird things going on, URGENT Zumo needed in 1 1/2 weeks!
I just found out that I bought it in July 2021, having a two year guarantee means it's going back to Sportsbikeshop, but now I have to buy another as I won't get it back until after my trip. The XT2 beckons.

I normally wait for the red 'off' button, but coulkd be mistaken.
Yes, a couple of amps, and also on the bike itself (I wired the connector straight to battery) as some have said that fixes things.
Battery is about 85% charged and it still shows streaks, apart from seeming to work ok

Display and other weird things going on, URGENT Zumo needed in 1 1/2 weeks!
Hi all, I last used my Zumo XT a month or two back and it appeared the battery inside had drained. When I plugged it in, it started doing all sorts of weird things including the display showing all those lines, worse still, the display is stuck at 40% and even if I drag the slider to 100%, nothing ...
