Re: XT Update 6.20
"I believe that it is a database of speed camera locations. I don't take too much notice of it - I have noticed a few are out of position" You're not wrong there, whereas my TomTom app will pinpoint the cameras down to last 5 metres, all the fixed ones I've passed have been a good 30 to 50 yards ...

Finding wifi problems on initial setup?
Hi all, I've had two of these in the last couple of months (the first having battery problems so it was replaced). They both exhibited the same problem in that on initial setup they wouldn't find any wifi signal in my home, despite having a mesh system which has never failed to give a potent signal ...

Re: XT Does Not Pass Rain Test
Leaving the internet is like leaving a theater because someone farted. The movie is good, and the theater is fine. My metaphor is giving these social media giants and all those that dream of milking their customers in similar ways a HUGE pass. At leas the person who farted did not do it ...

Re: Roundabout not been there 2 years
There's some "out of date" map info around me as well, so don't feel bad. We have an old railroad spur that has been out of service at least 20yrs, and is now a bike trail. I get "school crossing" warning for the local bus storage/maintenance barn, yet I get no notification for one of the ...

Re: Roundabout not been there 2 years
If it bothers you so badly why not report it? https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=pJLZBzPen9A7OXw5vlRyu5 I could but my complaint is that Garmin doesn't know that it's not there, and I'm not THAT bothered about it, but what does bother me is: how many other places don't exist? Interestingly. I ...

Re: ZUMOLOCK?
If it's sticking I would try a little lubrication. I am a fan of graphite powder. If you want the instructions here they are. https://shop.touratech-uk.co.uk/pub/media/akeneo_connector/media_files/0/9/09_065_1397_0_7412.pdf graphite is the mutts nuts alright, doesn't attract dirt and lubricates ...

Re: ZUMOLOCK?
I have looked at the zumolock and the video they provide on their website shows an older Zumo. People have mentioned that the supplied bike mount is possibly a bit iffy on rough ground, yet it appears that no one has had a XT fall off on a ride. What the video doesn't appear to show is the zumolock ...

Not a problem Give me a hour or so. P1200277.jpg P1200275.jpg P1200274.jpg P1200272.jpg Got it, I understand now. Whilst it's a cracking idea, I used those type of rubber thingies on my phone holder and I find them a pain. As a compromise, I'll order a 3M sticky pad that tethers it to a thin ...
