They are all wired to switched 12V supplies.. I don’t want to put them on unswitched supplies, but I can certainly try it for a short while to see if it helps..

As stated, different GPS’s give issue on different cradles.I have put a multimeter on all the cradles and they all show about 5 volts on the 2 pins, all the fuses are okay. thanks for posting that, I lack the confidence to use regedit, so basecamp list 11 devices for me, but I only have 4 that are actually valid, would love to remove the 7 old units that I no longer own, but don't want to risk breaking basecamp as it has been quite reliable the last year or so!! well that seems to have resolved the issue, I linked the GPS to Garmin explore and set everything up and now the tracks appear on the main screen!! I would never have thought explore would affect the ability of the GPS to display a track, so thank you very much for suggesting that.

Many thanks, I hadn't thought about explore, but I think you are correct, my GPS is linked to explore, but my wife's is not.. I will look at the links and see if I can get the issue resolved.
