Re: New unit charging
Several hrs minimum. Most folks just leave it plugged in overnight.

Re: Route line conceals street names/hwy numbers
On my device, I open the route & pick Map. I zoom in to see what I want and note it in BaseCamp. Active and previewed routes on the XT do not obscure the road names & numbers.

Re: Xt and Basecamp Map confusion
I downloaded and imported into BaseCamp. I don't see what you are. To me it looks "normal", a perfectly ride-able route with a few stops marked as waypoints.

Re: Need Some "How To" Advice
The on-map-planner is very quirky. I've tried to use it a number of times. It is not a problem when you are just practicing and the route is of no importance, but when the route matters - its difficult to get it do do exactly what you want. I often get a point placed befire my finger touches the ...

Re: Need Some "How To" Advice
I just played with it a little bit. Something I noticed is that when first chose to shape a route, its map view did not have trash cans on each shaping point. Re: Need Some "How To" Advice
I guess I wasn't very clear on this. Since I made the route on the device there seems to be no way for me to know which point on the route corresponds to what name on the list. Is there a way for me to do this looking at route points on the Trip Planner/pick route/MAP? edit: AFAIK, moving a point ...

Need Some "How To" Advice
Using my XT, I created a route by picking a destination and the GO. the route went active. I then picked a point back fro the end on the road I wanted to be on and added that as the next stop. I continued this process until I had a viable route. I then wanted to: A) move a point. How do I do this on ...

Re: Combined BC Map and Dialogue table.
What's a "route dialogue table", and what does it look like? These are foreign terms to me. It is the table/box that contains all the Route points; Via/Shaping/Start and End, with interval distances, times etc. ‘Dialogue boxes’ in computer speak are secondary boxes that can stay open in the bac ...
