Re: XT all over the place in Belgium, Luxembourg and France
My apologies, John (not Jeff). In my rush to return what I think is a faulty XT device to Amazon, I now realise that I restored its factory settings, which of course wiped the track records. Without a doubt, my XT was unable to achieve a reliable and stable lock onto satellites, through the late ...

Re: XT all over the place in Belgium, Luxembourg and France
Hi @Wapping123 . I don't have an answer to your question, but I'm sure interested in the circumstances that might have caused this. Any chance you can send me a copy if the gpx file created by MRA please ? Do you know which maps you used in MRA ? When you started the route did you select Closest ...

Re: XT all over the place in Belgium, Luxembourg and France
It is not a routing problem that I encountered. It is a problem whereby the device loses satellite fixes and / or shows the cursor’s position several tens of yards off the road. As soon as it wakes up and finds the satellites again, everything goes back to normal for a few miles, until it repeats. ...

Re: XT all over the place in Belgium, Luxembourg and France
Thank you. My fist task on the first evening was to check that I hadn’t inadvertently selected some OSM maps, which I had loaded onto an SD card in the device. They were all unticked. I agree it is far from normal, not least as I can’t find anything on the internet where anyone has experienced a sim ...

XT all over the place in Belgium, Luxembourg and France
I have just come back from Belgium, Luxembourg and France. Running properly created routes, made in MyRoute, my XT was: A. Regularly showing the positional cursor about 100 yards off the road I was riding along. B. Regularly losing satellite connection. I would say that today alone, on the journey ...

BaseCamp routes creating straight lines in my Nav V
When I create a route in BaseCamp and send it to my Nav V it arrives badly corrupted. This is something I have never seen before on a regular basis. To save time, may I refer people to this thread in UKGSer which explains the problem: https://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php/575079-BaseCamp ...
