I know this has come up before but for the life of me I can't remember the simple solution. Yesterday my routes we on top of the roads - today they're beside. The route works fine in my 660.

Someone on the Garmin forum suggested using the firewall to block Basecamp's internet access. It worked. I was able to load the route that failed yesterday.

I fixed that problem on my 660 by cleaning the contacts on the GPS and the pins on the mount. I didn't do anything to the USB port.

Are you suggesting that the map downloads TWICE for simultaneous PC and device update?
