Auto segment a route
So I have used Basecamp for years and have not found a way to automatically segment a route. Example I have a route that is 900 miles long I want to break it in to three segments other than a manual process? Or how can I limit the length of a route to a defined number of miles?

Re: Link Googlemaps to GPX
I was just throwing out options. I just saw a 2022 video on this app that might work for you. I don't know anything other than what was in the video. There may be a fee involved or not.

Re: Link Googlemaps to GPX
I will say that if you export a KML/KMZ file from My Maps and import to Basecamp check you route to make sure it is what you originally did in My Maps. The map data sets between Basecamp and Google Maps are different and may yield different results.

Re: Link Googlemaps to GPX
I use Google My Maps and export the Google route as a KML/KMZ file. Then import to Basecamp. Been doing this for years.
Google My Maps will not allow the use of a URL.

Re: Zumo XT won't power from switched source
I have seen others that wanted switched power, tie in to their headlight or taillight as long as it meets the voltage and amp requirement.

Re: Zumo XT won't power from switched source
Well congrats you got one issue solved. As far as it going to battery I have not experienced that. I would connect directly to your battery and see if you get the same result.

Re: Zumo XT won't power from switched source
If it works directly from the battery and not from your source I am at a loss. Unless the hot and negative are reversed. IDK

Re: Zumo XT won't power from switched source
So have you checked the voltage at your source you are trying to use. The Garmin requires a minimum of 10.3 volts to the converter. If there is less it may not be enough. I measured the voltage on mine at the 2 pins on the mount and got 5.27 volts. The output of the converter is 4.8 to 5.5 volts. So ...

Re: Zumo XT won't power from switched source
I connect all accessories thru a FuzeBlock, https://www.fuzeblocks.com, this is whether they are switched or unswitched. It just keeps all wiring clean plus all things are fused at one location. It is also very easy to change from switched to unswitched by changing the fuse position. Another advanta...
