Garmin announced years ago that BaseCamp wasn't compatible with Zumo 660 units.
It’s pot luck if you get a result.

Re: Replace same start & end points in many routes?
I would just right click on the waypoint and select 'Move Waypoint'.

Re: Alternative route through a busy town
A BC Route I am preparing has to cross a town (~4km wide) which has a fairly intense and congested grid pattern of streets. The Route chosen by BC is not one I would take due 1km of broken road surface and local traffic. I have travelled through the town previously. I will arrive at the town about ...

I have and use a Zumo 660, if I know which files you need I could send a copy.

Re: Laptops
Hopefully, some of the Mac users will chip in. I'm not so sure how well modern Macs play with Garmin Express and Basecamp?? My understanding, for what it's worth, is that Basecamp was intrduced primarily for Mac stuff, as Mapsource wouldn't work without some sort of added software. So you should be ...

Re: Uploading OSM maps onto Zumo 660
Many years ago I installed OSM maps to my ZUMO 660.. I downloaded the maps from the OSM site to my laptop using the instructions supplied, then used Mapinstall to transfer them to my 660. Basecamp didn't come into it. BaseCamp includes MapInstall so works exactly the same. What I'm saying is that I ...

Re: Recalculating Custom Routes, Yes or No?
I'm sure I read somewhere that Zumo 660s and Basecamp don't 'like' each other (perhaps a Garmin Notification).
I don't like Basecamp so use Mapsource without any problems on my 660.

Re: Is basecamp still a thing?
Mapsource for me all day long..
BaseCamp comes up with ridiculous routes regardless of settings, also no ability to right click and view roads on Google Satellite view.
Been using it on all three of our Garmin units for years, Zumo 660, Garmin Camper, and my wife's little car one.

Re: Michelin map
I use Mapsource for creating all my routes for my Zumo 660, (but Basecamp for my Camper 760 Nuvi unit).
The benefit of Mapsource is the ability to right click and view in Google Satellite Imagery on Google Maps, something sadly lacking with Basecamp.
