Get a stylus pen and use that. It's a lot more accurate than using a glove finger or no glove.

I have had something like this happen when a new map is added and I try to use an old trip stored on the GPS. I fixed it by recalculating all old saved trips on Base Camp and reloading back to the GPS.

4.8.9 is for Mac users. Windows is still 4.7.2.

I think I had this issue once or twice when my maps in Bootcamp didn't match the maps on my GPS.
