Re: Pairing XT with Packtalk Edge as GPS
To be honest I rarely if ever listen to music while riding, I tested it in the interests of being thorough. Also I must say the voice control of the Edge just works although I have been using the buttons just so I get used to it. I do have an SD card in the XT with routes and music if I want to list...

Pairing XT with Packtalk Edge as GPS
I was wondering how the set up would perform if I paired the Zumo XT to the Cardo Packtalk Edge as a GPS instaed of as a phone. Originally I had the XT paired as a phone which worked fine with the Packtalk Edge the only downside was the lack of the OK Google function, which in reality I probably wou...

Thanks Stu, I'll have a play around with it and as far as Bixby goes I disabled it ages ago, it got on my nerves
My main reason for the whole question was to find out if there was any loss of functionality from the XT that cannot be handled by the Edge.

Re: Cardo PackTalk Edge Duo - Setup for use with XT and a phone.
Thank you for your reply, as I said I am happy with the set up as it is but the curiosity in me might just experiment with the pairing as a GPS just for the heck of it. I would have to make a note of how things are paired at the moment so I can get back to where I am. As for the OK Google I think th...

Re: Cardo PackTalk Edge Duo - Setup for use with XT and a phone.
Probably jfheath is the man to answer this question. I have the Zumo XT and have just bought a Packtalk Edge. I have it all set up and everything is working except the "OK Google" function which I can live without. So the question is, what are the implications of pairing the XT to the Edge...

Re: Working with route names
Thank you for your reply, I don't have the "Show on map" option but it displays on the map anyway.

Re: Working with route names
Please pardon my ignorance here but how do you display a trip and a track at the same time?

Re: A question about roadworks
I don't know whether to learn to live with it or not, the XT has a lot of great features and I like it, I have yet to sell my Tomtom Rider 550 so I might hang on to it for a while longer before making a final decision. I use the Tomtom Go app on my phone so I suppose that could be a backup. What a f...
