Re: Not recognising the SD Card

If I was debugging this, this would be some of the things I would try. 1 - Different size of SD Cards ( I am lucky I have a dozen plus ranging from 1GB to 512GB ) 2 - Different SD Manufacturers (some times it's the SD Card) - Did you buy a SANPO card for $3 from Amazon or a $50 SanDisk ? 3 - Try ref...

Re: Not recognising the SD Card

Works on my wife's unit. No issues. However you have to turn off the Bluetooth (I think) between the phone and the unit.

Re: ZUMO XT2 CONCLUSIONS

Upon removing Tread App from my phone (and my wife's phone) and solely using BaseCamp routes imported to the units, it worked perfectly. There are still some idiosyncrasies with the device (auto reroute, detours, some common events for motorcyclists like route planning a day trip that starts and end...

Re: Latest XT2/Tread software version

Thanks Turbo19 (if that is your real name) :) This is useful. Just updated my two units (map and firmware). If you have read my other posts, you'll see that I am not a fan of the Tread App. IMDO until they put something meaningful in their app update section, I'm inclined to leave it UNINSTALLED. Th...

Re: Share Route With A Friend`s Xumo XT2

Yes but you're not going to like the answer... You need to use the Garmin Tread App. However, no one should be using the Garmin Tread App. Complete sh!t. If you are inclined to take a risk, you would export the route from your Tread App, share the .gpx with your friend via email, Bluetooth, text, wh...

Re: ZUMO XT2 CONCLUSIONS

If you are not using the Tread app, I am curious what your experience has been on creating and saving routes on the XT2? I recently had the frustrating experience of creating a route and saving a route on the XT2. To open the route, I selected it from the Explore catalog app listing routes on the X...

Re: ZUMO XT2 CONCLUSIONS

TRIP SUMMARY WITHOUT USING TREAD APP (i.e. removed completely from phone) When working with imported files from BaseCamp directly to unit, the ZUMO XT2 performed as expected WITHOUT ANY ISSUES . It aligned to my wife's unit which was prepared with the same BaseCamp maps using the same method. I high...

Re: ZUMO XT2 CONCLUSIONS

My next trip (which starts Friday) is roughly 2700km.

Like @Malarkey I'm going to just use BaseCamp and import to the unit via USB.

I'll share what I learn when I get back!

Re: ZUMO XT2 CONCLUSIONS

Hi technoguppy - just wanted to ask if deleting the tread app has solved the problem and allowed your XT2 to follow the route you imported? Also how are you importing - are you transferring gpx files from Basecamp directly to your SD card in the XT or directly to the XT? We have a 2500+ mile trip p...

Re: ZUMO XT2 CONCLUSIONS

IMDO Their team is focused on "wearables" or other priority products. It's the best explanation I can think of.
