Now you know...
Wonder how it is that Garmin can seemingly abandon an entire community of users (i.e. Motorcyclists), here's an example of where they are putting their efforts. Instead of improving BaseCamp, better connectivity with phones, headsets, etc., they are focused on another community. Along with watches ...

Re: DONT UPDATE GARMIN EXPRESS
I guess you could but I don't have that many friends and even fewer have ZUMO XTs. Might just be easier to roll back to the 7.23 version of Garmin Express.

DONT UPDATE GARMIN EXPRESS
Garmin Express 7.24 will NOT let you save the MAP to your laptop / PC. If you did, here's a link to the previous version https://garmin-express.en.uptodown.com/windows/download/1021794763 Not sure why they have taken away this feature but they have. Also NOTE: You may need to go into your explorer ...

Re: Need help: Bluetooth problems XT2
Are you connecting to a headset or similar? What I have found is that for some headsets, phones and GPS Units, there can be only one (1) Bluetooth master . Bluetooth is a varying spectrum (no pun intended) of capabilities wrapped inside each technology release. BT 1.0 is not the same as BT 6.0 and ...

Re: Fuel tracking
It will not function as you desire if you don't power it via the connection cable they provide. If you choose to power by USB it will not track or "realize" that it is in the motorcycle mount, and won't track the fuel tank info. Sorry to tell you that but might provide info for a different option or ...

Re: Basecamp
Yes, within BaseCamp. The device will be listed and you can grab the route, folder, whatever and drop and drag it into the XT2.
You can drag to Internal Storage or SD/User Data.

Re: Basecamp
Yes. No issues *just a few issues
Once you click OK that BaseCamp does not support the XT2 you can drop and drag the routes.
Done it 100s of times so far. No issues.

Re: Being forced to go back to a waypoint
I'd like to say it might be different but I can't confirm that without a test.
Others may have better insight into the differences between "Skip" vs "Recalculate". If I were to guess there is likely distinction between the two.

Re: Being forced to go back to a waypoint
The "recalculate" option should take you to the closest entry point back to your route. It shouldn't redo your entire route, just until you can get back to it. If you don't have the "Automatic" or "Prompted", it wants you to complete your trip via the Waypoint. I have mine set to "Prompted" and it's ...

Re: Garmin support for Zumo XT2
MotoTomCC I think you are bypassing an opportunity here. BaseCamp (while not the most intuitive software on the planet) is not overly cumbersome. Once your XT2 connects, it gives a warning which you dismiss as the next step, then it all works great. BaseCamp is the champ when it comes to creating ...
