Would that work on a bike?

There are several things I like, you can define different profiles for different vehicles...

Interestingly, if you want to order on the Garmin.eu website, it still adds the two cable to the basket when you selct a XT2 with thumb controller, instead of the single cable...

So is it worth it?

I like the thumb control that can be connected to the XT2,

But on balance is the XT2/Tread a significant better system than the XT/Basecamp combi?

I have to try that next update,...

Plugged it in via my laptop,..ñ eventually.

Updates done in less than 30min,… weird

I get 315Mbs download speed on the wifi testing with my ipad

Started this morning at abt 1100 an update, it is now 1700 hrs and there are still 12hrs to go….

Connected via wifi, but is this normal???

It is listed on Garmin Europe for 79.99Eur

But you can't add it to the basket

There is several weeks waiting time for the single cable...

late to this discussion but when you order the package from Garmin in the Netherlands, both the cables are included:
So it appears that both are needed???
