Garmin exchanged the third 595 for a 590, plus all the usual bits. Only had it out for one ride of 25 minutes times two, but no disconnection of the phone from the GPS / messing up the Bluetooth intercom

I tend to have the current, plus previous versions of the mapping on my laptop for when I use Basecamp, just in case the latest has some horrible bug. The GPSR's I have, or have had in the last few years always deletes the older versions of the mapping, for the current one.

In fact, I upload my routes in this manner to both the card and to internal storage. I then get the message when starting the 396 if I want to import the route or nor. When I say yes, is that route imported from internal storage or the card? Who's to know? If I'm putting routes onto th SD card in m...

Due to my 595 Bluetooth problems I'm being offered a 396 or 590. Any thoughts on which you think is the better option for me?

Surprised it's not 2020.10 though

I updated my 595 to 4.5 in the hope it would cure the Bluetooth connections issues I've, no such luck. It did add new bugs where it would get stuck on looking for satellites on the map page, but the home page would show all green bars, plus it would shut itself off completely, plus some strange look...

Now on my third 595 and all displaying the same problem, but the first two were faulty units

Do have some extra mounts etc now though
