I'm resigning myself to ditching the Tread app and managing without weather info and traffic /road closure info. Then I can use my Basecamp routes. I'm hoping that they can make Tread interact with the XT2 then when I go away on holidays, I can just take a tablet / smartphone to tweak routes ...

What a surprise, Tread messing something else up

"Local Spots" is in the Driver Assistance tab and was set to "on" when I powered up my XT2 after the update.

Points in the route still move if you change them from a via to a shaping point in Tread 2.09.52. I'v fed this back by the in-app reporting tool, which came in the previous version.

Just run the 2.09.52 and it still moves via points if you change them to shaping points, sometimes by a large distance and which can then cause a big change in the route.

My current options are. Base camp ro6ute to SD card but no tread app involved. COPY *** Basecamp route to Tread app and synched. ??? *** = Good standby. If copied version is used ??? = not proved, not disproved. I use the Basecamp to Tread, via e-mail as I know that when I open the XT2 up, it will ...

Afraid not, the Bluetooth connection between my Android Samsung A54 and the XT seems to be ok.

Did you see the video I.posted of creating a route with via using the tread app ... then changing the via to shaping ? The route changed but it was different depending on which order I changed the points. Yes, it got me playing with Tread, and into a downward spiral of confusion. I've tried seeing ...
