Does the Zumo 590 have a spot on the screen that lets you instantly view what country you are in or what state you are in? It would be so handy to have either a toggle button for this or an area on the upper right side of the screen (for example) to show it. I constantly travel into different states...

The last post from JHeath is exactly what I do on my 590.
That is the only way that it can be cleaned out and stay cleaned.
As he mentioned, shutting down the unit completely (after deleting the files) is critical.

For off road, I use a smattering of media. I use BaseCamp along with Google Earth. However those two are not enough. I have googled many forums that have downloadable gpx files and others that have a database full of off road routes. They often have descriptions and photos and even videos of the ter...
