My 595 works perfectly for Directions, MP3 and phone UNTIL i connect intercom to another biker. My phone is then disconnected from the Zumo. Tried connecting then in every possible combination but I still cannot get my phone to work when the intercom is operative.

DO NOT retire your 660. I have the 595 and it is rubbish. Wish I had kept my 660

We seem to be going backwards with technology instead of moving forward. 590/595 also having problems with Bluetooth connections which never happened on the 660
