Should also add that my phone (Android Galaxy) somehow auto-updated the app that was installed via APK Mirror, to the current version which broke the fix.
Had to navigate to G Play app section and deselect "auto update". Hope it sticks! Pretty sure it will.

[/quote]Got it fixed!!!! The problem isn't the zumo, it's the new version of garmin drive app. I found a the version of drive app before the latest update and installed it.
