Well,I know very little about computers,but,purely out of desparation,I performed a disk repair this morning,and that seemed to work,I didn't see anything wrong with the disk,and from what I can see of a report,nothing has shown up as untoward on the disk.

Thanks to all that helped,but,managed to sort out issue and have map installed on my computer!

Having done as advised,the only difference was the error comes at 1.8% ather thsn 2.9 % previously.

Iremoved all the maps in garmin folder, and basecamp plist,but still no joy in downloading map to basecamp

In order to download it from my device,I have to use garmin express,it's the only way to do it! There was no problem with express to device,the problem is with downloading to basecamp!

I will try it out today,but, I was actually trying to downloading the map on my device, which is in this folder,not in the long digit form as the other maps are,but as 2026.10. I think I have removed it before,at least in the finder basecamp section,but not in the garmin library,and it made no ...

As said before there are 4 maps in garmin map folder in library,application support!

And this where I came in,I can't download the map on my device to my computer using garmin Express,it stops 2.9% into dowload! Which is why I ask if it's possuble to install one of the maps in library,to basecamp?

Ok, now when I do that,it doesn't show any map but the useless global map,so,how could I get one of the other maps in there?

I see the files,in library,is there a way to have basecamp show one of the maps in there,without device connected?
