Re: New phone s22u , no notifications. Help please
I am having the same problem. I tried with two different phones, a Pixel 6 Pro and a Pixel 3, both running Android 12. Notifications don't work at all on either. I opened a ticket yesterday with Garmin.

Re: Can I temporarily stop verbal instructions?
Under the Volume menu, you can turn off spoken navigation and spoken alerts. You can also disable the Headset pairing for the Cardo unit under Bluetooth settings, which will cause spoken directions to play from the speaker in the GPS but not play on the Cardo, but there might be sync issues if you ...

Re: Faulty? Bluetooth questions
I have tried it with three different makers of inexpensive earbuds. Same nav voice audio distortion on all of them ☹️. Music sounds fine. If others have the same issue, I can deal with it. Not ideal, but at least I could stop trying to figure out if my XT is working correctly. I am using fairly hig ...

Re: Faulty? Bluetooth questions
Forget what I said! I just tried it and if apparently if you turn off headphone pairing it also turns off voice navigation, only music.
The effect is certainly high-frequency clipping. Some voices may have a less noticeable effect than others. I will experiment with that on my next ride.

Re: Faulty? Bluetooth questions
I think what you are experiencing is due to the way the XT is pairing with your Bluetooth device. Bluetooth has a bunch of different modes, known as "profiles". There are high quality ones for music and lower quality ones for phone headsets. The lower quality ones limit high frequencies which why ...

Re: Explore and Mapshare questions
Thanks. I've been looking at some wired earbuds that can also be used wireless Bluetooth. I just have no idea what will work in my ears and what won't. The 595 cable isn't too bad. I have the audio out jack routed to pop out between the tank & seat at my right thigh so if (when) I do forget to ...

Re: Explore and Mapshare questions
With the 595 there's an audio out jack on the octopus cable and I just plug into that with my earbuds, does the XT have that? You can get a cheap Bluetooth receiver, pair that with the Zumo and use your wired earbuds. It's actually much easier than that old wiring harness (and forgetting to unplug ...

Re: Mounting XT as Mass Storage device on Windows
Thanks, @lkraus! That is exactly the kind of menu I was thinking about.
The unit is capable of connecting as MSC, since it will do that on MACS and older Windows systems. It's a shame that Garmin has decided not to let us have that option.
@jfheathThat would be my guess, as well.

Re: Mounting XT as Mass Storage device on Windows
BTW I have found one hidden menu, which is entered by pressing and holding the battery icon on the main screen, but it had no obvious way to change the USB connection mode.
