Re: "Ok, Google" / "Hey Siri" from headset - does it make it to the phone?
Yes you lose the direct ability for "Okay Google." You can use the "Voice Call" function in the phone app to do the same thing (but you don't say "Okay Google".). You press the Voice dial button and when the screen says to speak you say your command. As far as I can see...

Re: Zumo XT screen protectors
I have a plastic screen protector on my XT. Unfortunately I ordered it in Matt finish so when the sun is on the screen it looks like it's covered in dust. I got the plastic as the company in Germany (protectionfilms24) that makes the glass ones wasn't shipping to Canada. I noticed today they are so ...

Re: Audio warning issue
@Hati , I have updated my post with your format of details. Since you have this menu item, it indicates that you have Proximity Alerts. Have you deliberately installed any PAs on your XT? No, definitely not. It is "bog standard" as it is sold by Garmin here (bought it directly from them)....

And like the 590/595 the trip data fields are defined differently when navigating or not navigating.Oop North John wrote: ↑
Correct, works just like the 590 / 595. Just don't be surprised if you can't see ETA as an option, if, you're not navigating a route

Re: Customising the warning screen
Don't know but on ADVrider there has been some discussion of changing Line with same way as 590 and I seem to recal a similar discussion when the 590 came out doing the same change as they did on the 660.

Re: XT and LiveTrack
Until you mentioned it I hadn't heard of Livetrack having anything to do with a GPS. Have you seen it somewhere?

Re: XT in car, worth it?
It works in car with no issues.
The only downer is the mount isn't the nice drop-in like the car and bike mounts of my 660 and 590 and the XT bike mount.
On the XT car mount you have to plug in the USB to get power.
Otherwise it is an incredible machine that works well!

Re: Zumo XT section
I still have my 590 mounted in addition to the XT. Ironically the first day that I rode with my XT my 590 told me I had. a slow leak. I was about 100 km from home and have a compressor and repair kit on the bike. It was just above freezing so I would rather do it in a warmer spoke. I could see from ...

Re: zumo XT First (and continuing) impressions
Rode for a little bit today (about 325 km.). Perfectly clear sky. Using the XT with regular and topo maps it was as good as I could imagine. Could always see everything clearly with my sunglasses on no matter where the sun was (disclosure: because I need reading glasses I locate the unit fairly clos...
