Re: InReach Mini 2 Paired with Zumo XT - What Plan?
Freedom allows suspension of service, with restart at any time, but once restarted, system is active for 30 days. Annual stays active for the entire year. The Safety Plan charge $0.10 for every track point sent or location request. The Recreation Plan includes unlimited track point sends every 10 mi...

InReach Mini 2 Paired with Zumo XT - What Plan?
Just received my Inreach Mini 2 Thursday. Synced it with my Explore App, my cell phone and my Zumo XT. Currently debating which satellite communication plan to purchase. Living in Indiana, I don't ride year-round, so I was thinking of going with a Freedom Plan to allow me to suspend the subscription...

Re: Latest XT Motorbike Lockable Mount options
On my Honda I don't have any lock (yet) and will "pocket" the XT for security. At least for now. Do you find the XT needs a screen saver to protect it from use like this? I have a screen protector on mine and I always pop it into it's carrying case, so I couldn't tell you if that is neces...

Re: Latest XT Motorbike Lockable Mount options
I have the Touratech Mount on my Beta X-Trainer. Incredibly solid setup and virtually bulletproof setup for technical single track trails. I do not have a locking device on my Husqvarna TE610 or on my BMW R1150RT. I just have the standard Zumo Mount on them. I'd dropped the Husky hard enough to bend...

Re: USB Power lead for motorbike mount
On the end opposite the voltage step-down box that is built into the factory cable, you are correct. Two standard insulated wires. Go up the cable, past the step-down box to shorten the cable, and it becomes a shielded cable.

Re: USB Power lead for motorbike mount
It can be done. It is a shielded cable, not a standard, individually insulated two-conductor cable inside a sheath. If you cut the cable, you will find an insulated cable in the center. Around the outside of that cable's insulation, you will find a braided bare-wire shield (think braided steel brake...

XT Installation on 2017 Beta X-Trainer
Spent the afternoon in the garage today working on my 2017 Beta X-Trainer and installing a bunch of farkles and some new tires... Added a BRP Sub-Mount for a Scott's Steering Damper, BRP Bar Clamps that include Mounting Points for Handgaurds, a set of Cycra Probend Handguards, and some really nice s...

I have no doubt you could do it that way, and I appreciate your effort, but it shouldn't be that difficult...

Re: Hide track from map
Way too complicated to try to do it that way... Garmin just needs to re-enable the ability to show or hide an item at the object level. It's really a simple solution if they just fix that one thing... Right now, loading a GPX file for an event into one collection is a simple wireless process. When s...

Re: Hide track from map
I hope so too... Here's my reason for wanting to control what, within a collection displays without having to remove it from the collection... I frequently attend organized dual sport, adventure, or sport touring motorcycle events. I am also a frequent user of the ADVRider forum, where many of these...
