Re: Newbie hoping to learn a few things here

Welcome to the forum Norboy. Two things we have in common--I also use a Z660 and used to have Commandos many years ago. I often wish I'd kept my 1976 Mk3 Interstate :?

Re: Wanted 590 or 595

No problem fella, just not much point finding stuff if you were in Oz or NZ.
Don't know if you use facebook marketplace but there's a couple of Z595/590 for sale on there. This one looks a good price:- Item # 831970914432232

Re: Pin missing from 550 motorcycle mount

Hi Galanity, I did look through my GPS "stuff" in my garage. I had a couple of 550's years ago and thought I may still have a M/C mount but unfortunately there was no mount, sorry. Hope you like your XT.

I know it's not a 395 but maybe this post would give you a clue :-viewtopic.php?t=1816
I'm not a fan of Bluetooth stuff but I read that a lot of connection problems are down the order in which devices are linked.

Re: Zumo XT not recognizing it's on the cradle

Added to my post .... I have obviously stripped and checked and rechecked that I had assembled the backing mount correctly with all the spacers/washers etc in the correct order. Frustrating!! Hi guys. I too have just bought the XT and after spending a couple of hours removing the 2020 DL1000 bike p...

Re: Car Mount for 660LM

Just for information, in case anyone else was thinking of doing something similar, there's no need for a voltage reducer on the supply in to the 660 ;) .

Car Mount for 660LM

I want to hard wire my car mount into my car's fuse board rather than using the cigarette lighter socket/plug. Do I need a voltage transformer between the GPS mount and the fuse board or does the mount reduce the voltage?
Cheers, Pete.
