Yes, I have updated my XT to 2021.30 and via a still registered 590 have been able to update Basecamp on the PC.

Re: Smartphone, Garmin Explore and Zumo XT - step by step setup.
Have you found any way to organise stored routes in Explore. You can create collections, and anything listed in the left hand pane has a little 'eye' symbol that allows you to turn things on and off, so that they are not visible. Someone posted that this doesn't affect what is synchronised with the...

Re: Smartphone, Garmin Explore and Zumo XT - step by step setup.
Thanks for that jfheath , I certainly appreciated it. Have you found any way to organise stored routes in Explore. I know you can sort collections but I cant find a "new file" button. So if I create a collection called "Road Routes" then in Basecamp I can have sub-folders for Eng...

Re: Map Number confusion
I had exactly the same yesterday. I sent a trial route from the PC to the XT of 15.4 miles and the XT showed it as over 160 miles and then when I pressed "Go" to see what was happening it couldn't show it. I solved the problem by the reinstall the maps option in Garmin Express, all seems t...

Re: another feature being limited
Well I'm guessing it's because with the XT we now no longer have the option to "download maps to computer"

Re: LOST on route
Providing you have got it set to re-calculate.
As others have pointed out, you must have your device set to what you are expecting of it.
Good luck

Re: LOST on route
I may be totally wrong here, and I'm sure someone with far more knowledge will jump in if I am, but I would hazard a guess that the problem lies within the fact that you started and ended at the same location. Basically the route is finished as soon as it starts. Try seperating your start / finish p...

Re: Duplicated route changes affecting original route
Yes, definitely my fault and definitely happening because of the shared via point. The solution is to add a different via point as the start point for the following day

Re: Duplicated route changes affecting original route
Thanks for the replies, I think I have sorted out what is happening. The route I am working on is an 8 day trip, split into daily sections. The issue only seems to occur when I duplicate the route and try to move the last via point of one day which is also the first via point for the following day. ...

Re: Duplicated route changes affecting original route
They do, one allows changes without affecting the original, the other means changes in one are copied in the other. It's been a long time but IIRC the DUPLICATE and COPY commands function differently. Yes, that's correct. DUPLICATE allows changes, COPY changes both the copy and original. But I am D...
