Re: Off-Route Calculation question
If it helps I can also use Kurviger.de to plan a route as that allows the use of way-points and shaping points for free. I was recently laid off from work so I'm currently unable to pony up for MRA Gold but i have no problem doing so when I get another job if that is what could be causing some of m...

Re: Off or power save?
Any to tell if the XT is in "Off" or "Power Save" mode? And . . . when it is removed from the mount does it go into "off" or "power saving"? Well when it loses power from the bike it always says something like "Device will turn of in 20 seconds" By ...

Re: CN NA 2021.10
Garmin Express still says my 660 should be running 2020.2 I have a nuvi 3790 which has had 2020.3 and now 2021.1 but my 660 is lagging well behind now. Is this normal for Garmin to hold back zumo updates? I believe that Garmins "Lifetime" map updates only runs for an arbitrary length of t...

Re: Shaping points enigma
Ditto to what Sussamb has just said.
I have received lots of helpful information from JFHeath. one was to put a Via (announced) point a couple of miles from your start point. The Zumo will find it's own way to that point and thereafter follow all shaping points.
