Re: Nav commands not going thought Bluetooth
I would pair the dongle to the XT as a 'headset' - you also need to ensure the XT is in 'motorcycle' mode when on the bike.

Re: Zumo XT changes from Landscape to Portrait on its own.
My Zumo XT just started this today; It is mounted in the horizontal position on my motorcycle and seems to work fine (proper orientation) around town. However, when I get on the highway it rotates to the "landscape position". All the words are sideways, map, compass, etc. are all rotated ...

Re: WARNING - Garmin Zumo XT hot-shoe connector weakness
The posti just made his rounds and delivered the replacement cable. It must have already been in transit when I posted yesterday. At least I can not get my defect cable replaced before my tour. I feel this is the last time I hear from Garmin on this issue, unless I push it. then again, I expect the...

Re: WARNING - Garmin Zumo XT hot-shoe connector weakness
So it is time for an update on my support case with the pin damage on the hot-shoe of the Garmin Zumo XT powered cradle. Its been 2 weeks since I started this thread and probably a few day more since I began my support case with Garmin about this. I was juggled between Garmin international to Garmi...

Re: Locking device for the XT
My zumolock arrived yesterday only 6 days after ordering. My initial thoughts are that is is very light weight and the lock looks rather simple and weak. I had hoped for something that might have helped to hold the XT in place if I had not fitted it in the mount correctly. Anti theft was an issue, ...

Re: Is Garmin Drive App the only way to get traffic updates on the Zumo XT?
My Samsung J3-2018 cell phone and my Zumo XT do not work well together... My phone bluetooth just hangs when attempting to pair them, so, I am looking for an alternative solution to get traffic updates while on the road. I have tried the TA-20 12v jack (Embedded Traffic Receiver) that came with my ...

Re: Custom Startup Splash Screen on the XT?
Hi guys. I just upgraded from the 660 to the XT and I'm trying to work through a couple of things. I figured I'd start with the easy one, lol. On the 660, you could come up with your own custom start up screen configured to 480px x 210px and sticking it in the JPEG folder. There was no similar fold...
