Re: What is map "TopoActive PS Americas"
My Zumo XT came with two installed maps. One is called TopoActive PS Americas. When I bring it up in Basecamp, all it shows is major roads and highways, nothing else. I set detail to highest, nothing extra showed. ( I did re-install the map, that did nothing) On the Garmin website they want $59 for...

Re: How to toggle "Show on Map" for multiple tracks?
I have a GPX file that comprises 9 tracks (MABDR here in the US). I'm finding I have to go into each individually to toggle "Show on Map." Anyone know how to do this as a bundle i.e. show all tracks on the map? Thanks. I do not know the answer, However, if you post your question on this f...

Re: Tether for motorcycle
I think you have misunderstood what we are discussing, we are not saying that the mount is faulty, we are saying that we do not feel confident of using it in an off road situation. If you compare the XT mount to the rugged mount of the Montana / Monterra it is no way as robust & the XT has no p...

Re: Tether for motorcycle
You don't have warranty? If so, contact Garmin about that. If you paid for something, you have the right to receive the product in good conditions. Obviously mistakes/factory defects can happen with any brand, and is the way they solve those problems which is more important. However, and if you hav...

Re: Tether for motorcycle
Hi Guys Does anyone use a tether for XT? Anyone had the unit fall out of the OEM mount? Thanks. For piece of mind I do. I just stuck a self adhesive zip tie base to the back of the unit. Whilst on the face of it the mount looks a little flimsy, I have read good reports of it on other motorcycle for...

Re: Adding POI's
I am thinking about selling my 595 to go to an XT.......are there any 595 VETs here? my question is do the POIs function the same on the XT as they do on the 595? In the 595 threads I have been complaining that my waypoints are not able to be seen when navigation using my tracks. I am still in the ...

Re: Any way to wirelessly transfer routes?
From either BaseCamp or any other 3rd party routing software to the XT without having to plug it in? I know I can transfer directions to a location via Garmin drive on my phone, but can routes be sent wirelessly any way? I think the answer is.....no, but given the thing has Bluetooth and WiFi..... ...

Re: all favourites on map
You say that you can see the favourites on the unit, have you imported into the unit? You need to go 'where to' = 'Favourites' = top left of screen 3 horizontal lines select then import. Hope that helps. The points were already in a GPX file with a route The Zumo XT made favorites out of these poin...

Re: Audio warning issue
Maybe I missed it somewhere, but you can’t go into the main volume settings and just simply put the proximity alert at 0%? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It has been confirmed by Garmin that this is how the XT is (at the moment) and that the speed limit warnings cannot be turned off by the user...
