Re: Latest XT Motorbike Lockable Mount options
I have the Touratech mount, by far the most secure, as it surrounds the body of the XT & prevents the unit popping off the flimsy mount. By the time you look at the Zumo lock & postage, you may as well buy the TT mount. I have a mount cover with a KTM logo on mine when the unit is not insta...

Re: Entering address for navigation
Casbar, were you aware that the XT works really well with 'What3Words'. You look up the address on the app on your smartphone, then share it to the XT via the 'Garmin Drive' app. It sends the location direct to the XT, and the unit starts navigating automatically. I find it really accurate when visi...

Re: XT locking device
If you left the XT on a bike with the TT mount, you would wreck the unit trying to remove it, as you would need a tyre lever or pry bar, in my opinion the Zumo lock is an expensive waste of time. If the TT mount is attached to a RAM-type ball then presumably a thief could just nick the XT and TT mo...

Re: XT locking device
All I can find is the Zumolock or the Touratech cradle. General consensus is that the Touratech unit is very secure but it’s quite bulky. The Zumolock on the other hand adds almost no bulk to the mount and is very clean looking. I see a few people online selling the Zumolock in favour of the TT but...

Re: Power Supply Wiring
Hello...is the little plastic box on the power supply of the zumo xt anything more than a collector of the power and ground wire? I'd like to shorten it way up so that the mount becomes easily removable like I did with my Montana mount. Using the same SAE trickle charger connection up by the handle...

Re: No visible maps after latest update
After latest map update (CN Europe NTU 2022.20) yesterday no maps are visible on the screen. Not even my own installed OSM maps. They show up on MyMaps and are possible to select, but they are visible. Have reinstalled CN Europe maps through Garmin Express but still no visible maps. Do I have to re...

Re: Spoken Navigation stops after "Proceed to highlighted route"
My Zumo XT only gives the initial spoken navigation - "Proceed to highlighted route" and nothing after that. Ive tried the same test with and without headset connection and the result is the same. Spoken navigation is checked along with spoken traffic alerts and button presses. I know the...

Re: does the montana bike mount fit zumo?

Re: Advice please - Byways/green lanes UK
The XT is a great all round unit, unfortunately for use in the UK the best maps for green lane use are Ordnance Survey and the XT will not run them. What you will need to do is run the Open Street Maps for the UK , whilst not as detailed, will run on the XT. Personally, I have my XT for my road bike...
