Re: Is the Zumo XT appropriate for my UK road use?

Good evening, I need some UK user feedback on the suitability of the Zumo XT for an intended role, to replace my 660. I've been caught by the recent issue where an update for the Zumo 660 is too big for the memory and have been informed (after purchasing a card and formatting it etc etc) that I can...

Re: Going from a Zumo 595 to a Zumo XT

Do you install the Pocket GPS World database in the same way as the 595, with POI loader? The PGPSW database is way ahead of the Cyclops, but it does not seem to function on my XT.

Re: Going from a Zumo 595 to a Zumo XT

At my age I need a brighter screen for the GPS in the sunlight. I know that I will not have the TPMS system and the option to use the GPS to Bluetooth my music through the bikes speakers. I currently have the GPS Navigation Cable https://www.kawasaki.com/en-us/shop/featured/facebook/K10400046/gps-a...

Re: Replacing battery

Here in Europe the warranty is 2 years, I would speak to Garmin support you may be surprised by their response.

No - The automotive mount works via the usb connection when in a vehicle.

Re: Camera warning performance report please

Looking at buying the Garmin Camera warning subscription. How does it compare in performance to a third part subscription like Pocketgpsworld. The latter is a bit of a faf when trying to reduce the ammount of warnings, but you can get rid of mobile locations for instance. In the UK the 'Cyclops' ca...

Express 7.7.1

Garmin Express version 7.7.1 just released.

Don't hold your breath though, I still get an error message when I try to download the maps to my PC with my XT, problem reported to Garmin on 28/05/2021, only 7 weeks ago!

Re: XT touch screen sensitivity is too much

You cannot adjust screen sensitivity, I have not experienced any issues, or indeed read about other people with the same problem.

I run mine with a screen protector.

Re: Quick Questions

The Zumo XT is meant to use Basecamp or the new system Garmin Explore. Mapsource although popular has not been valid for years now.
