Re: 396 goes to “standby” instead of “off” when bike turned off
Thanks - that confirms the behavior. A very odd design feature in my opinion. Stuff like that always makes me want to find the coder and ask them what they were thinking.[emoji849] LOL. It's exactly the way I want it to behave as I record every MC trip as daily tracks. If the unit turned off at ...

Re: waypoints
Are you using this or did you hear about it? I ask as it it looking for GPX files during the install and I navigated to the ALL DATA in BC and it did not like that. Thanks I use it (POI loader) With my BMW Nav 5 on a Mac. I've created a POI folder in BC that contains lists for different situations ...

Re: waypoints
There is a way to do what you guys need, custom POI files and Garmin POI loader. The following two links should get you started. The Mac version appears to be current, not sure on the windows version. https://support.garmin.com/en-CA/?faq=lfiKohFF2UAo3eaO9vHYp6 https://support.garmin.com/en-CA/?faq ...

Re: BaseCamp - Basecamp version 4.8.8 for Mac update - Now a route shaping tool problem
I'm not seeing any change after the update, everything (so far) is working as it should. iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017), Catalina 10.15.3.
I've always used the selection tool (arrow) to modify routes as the OP describes.

Re: Access Basecamp Library from multple computers
It's also possible with iCloud Drive using multiple Macs. Depending on how the Macs are set up, it's possible it's already been done automatically. It's also possible to access multiple libraries across numerous Macs.

Re: What use is the Trip Log?
I document every major motorcycle ride and most hikes via a track, which is what the trip log actually is. These tracks go back almost 20 years. They show me where that weird pass was in Austria I rode in 2007 and where exactly I took the picture of the wild flowers in the Rockies in 2012. I also ...

Open the route properties window of the route you want to re-join or extend. Activate the route tool (control r). Go to work.
To join two or more routes, open the route properties box of the first one and drag additions into the box in the order you want to add them.
