Re: Garmin Drive to Garmin XT issues

Re: How would you emphasize a mandatory fuel stop?
Won't an announced waypoint be sufficient? Perhaps you could drag the route onto the forecourt if that's shown on the map.

Re: So, who trusts their XT's navigation?

Re: ZUMO XT questions from newbie
For a cross country trip, I normally carry my laptop, which has a copy of Garmin's Basecamp software and my current database of routes, etc, just in case I need to alter the rides I planned. Re: Working with route names
There's a simple solution for this problem - normally you already know the direction, in which you will be driving! Just set the starting point around 500 meters from your house/hotel or so! This gives your Zumo a greater amount of time to get your exact position and you don't have to fear to miss ...

Re: Zumo XT on sale..
I don't think I've ever had a problem when I wander off route. I simply zoom out and work out how to rejoin it.

Re: Transfering routes from PC to Zumo
An alternative while on tour is to plot routes using MRA on a tablet, then Garmin Drive to the XT.
