Well, that depends on whether or not you have a gps attached to the computer. With NO gps unit attached, the drop down list should only show maps that are installed locally to the computer. With a gps unit attached, the drop down list will show maps available to basecamp, installed local on computer...

Well, that's how I got the map on the computer in the 1st place, that's how I presume that it is the same identical map... the latest express update wouldn't let me install to the computer until the map was installed on the XT 1st. I haven't tried BC with the XT connected and utilizing the XT map......

Even at work I won't allow system updates to our BAS system until someone else has done them 1st.

I haven't installed this update yet, but have you tried changing your zoom level and see the results?
Could similar to how Basecamp works with maps. The more you zoom in, the more detail you can see.
Just a theory...
