Update. After many emails from Sena I have decided that these issues are compatability problems between the 595 and the Sena 10U headset. I cannot for example get the phone to operate through the headset despite it being connected to the 595 - I know it is because I can make a call from the 595 but ...

Yes it's in change route, but would mean about 4 touches of the screen to action - it was just 1 on the 345. I still cannot find anyway of switching off the guidance instructions on the sat nav, all it says is change the volume on the headset - bit pointless when you want to listen to music! Again ...

No, there is no skip on the 595. The more I look at it the more the 595 is s backward step in terms of useability. Really poor in many ways in my opinion, made much worse by extraordinarily poor service and response from Garmin. Ah well, I must do more research next time and I suspect if I do I will ...

Thanks both for the replies. I cannot find 'skip' except through 'change route' - is that right? Good to know its there, but to be honest it was much easier with just an icon on the map which I just touched on the 345 and it deleted the waypoint, but I have learnt something! Good thinking on the VOX ...

So, I have just got a 595 after using a 345 for a few years. At £500 I hoped it might be better - but so far I think not. First, it says the first word of all instructions twice - why? 'At at the next junction turn right' is very annoying! Second, I can't seem to have a mute button on the screen as ...
