Standard battery for Zumo 396.
Standard battery for Zumo 396.
Fed up with the battery life of the 396 battery and going to make an external battery supply ( but still portable) . Can anyone tell me exactly what the stock battery is so I don't have to open it up before I get the new battery ( V, Capacity and how many leads)

Why not just have a power bank with a USB lead to power the 396?
On most modern Garmin's pressing on the battery icon for about 10 seconds brings up a diagnostics page with the battery and charging information.

My idea was to have sufficient capacity to keep the GPS useable when not on the bike. The stock battery just isn't sufficient.
