Tread: no results when searching

Ive just uninstalled the app & re-installed it & it made absolutely no difference whatsoever. Garmin need to sort this out asap. It pretty much makes the app redundant. I got the tablet so when at home & when on tour I could review & change routes easily & in comfort.

With any problem, you should always reset your stuff first.
I love tips like that. The next recommendation will probably be to reset the whole phone

I tried the search for the first time today.
The test was only here because of this topic, normally I don't even use the Tread app for planning (there are better ones, as long as their GPX really work )

Fact, the search brings up suggestions when you enter them, but I don't get any hits also

Is anybody else suffering ‘no results ‘ ?
I am clearly not the only one .
eg search London and lots of suggestions appear , such as London Heathrow
Click on that and ‘no results’

Yes I'm having the same problems on both my phone & tablet. It occasionally works & then just randomly stops. I've given up for the moment & gone back to using MRA which is a better overall package anyway, it's just a few more steps to transfer the .gpx files.

I’m in contact with Garmin who have instructed my to open my XT2 create a txt log file and send it to them ; not obvious but yiu need to tap something TEN times

I’ve also been asked to load Tread on another phone ( my wife’s ) and I report it also produces no results

Thus must be a mothership issue especially if others here also suffering

Android AND Ipad


Mag glass. Type in search word - I used streets, towns, well known locations

Often the location is found in the pop up list.

When selected, the place is never found.

Does Tread have to be connected to the XT2 when you search ? Just a question, I don't need to know.


Its the first time I have tried to find anything.
