550 Repairs

Post by BillL »

Hi,

I went looking for zumoforums today to find reference to a guy in Mankato, Minnesota that repairs and replaces the buttons and rubber membranes.

I discovered that the site was gone. :(

Then I found this place. :)

Is there a user here yet that knows what i"m talking about?

Yes, it is. Thank you. I found it about 30 minutes after posting here. I couldn't post a reply as a mod needed to approve my recent registration.

I had my 550's buttons repaired by him a few months ago. It is working as good as ever. Also had the internal battery replaced. I'd recommend him.

My 550 has traveled all over the world with me and Chris Short (Palm doctor) has taken EXELLENT care of it and my motorcycle mount as well. I don't think I will EVER replace it as long as Chris stays in business. :D

I jut received notice from Chris that he has shipped mine out. He received it 2 days ago. I am incredibly impressed. The rubber keys repaired, internal battery replaced, and the audio jack in the motorcycle cradle replaced.. all that done and out the door in 2 days!

I’ve read about him for several years. I am so glad I saved the web site information.
