I don't remember the menu items perfectly, because I don't have the Zumo XT with me, but to reset you have to go to settings / device and then you find an item that sounds something like this: reset and delete data, or something like that. In any case, I realized that if you synchronized the device with your Explorer, and you had routes, this is what creates the Trip Planner crash. Erase the routes on Explore and it should be fine
