There are 3 Navigon files on my XT.

Navigon.kmtf dated 18 Dec 2019 11KB - stored in Themes / Map - ( text readable) .
Navigon_Arrow.srf dated 22 Aug 2019 5,247KB - stored in Vehicle folder

and new:

Navigon.srf dated 18 Nov 2021 1,235 KB - stored in Vehicle folder

SRF files are apparently Garmin Bitmaps. So it is a picture of the Navigon Vehicle that has been added.
(Open it in a text editor - before the gobbledygook that you cannot make sense of, it says 'GARMIN BITMAP 01'.)

Which Icon, I don't know - but you could find out by deleting Navigon.srf and seeing which icon has gone missing.
Then ..... Oh - hang on. I've just spotted a problem with that idea.

This evening I opened the map and sliding it, my attention was attracted by a magnifying glass placed in the upper right, which I seemed to have never noticed. By clicking on the icon, a series of symbols appear, such as restaurants, ATMs, attractions etc. Probably, instead, that lens has always been there, in which case ignore this message. I don't shine for observation.
