Not finding imported routes on my XT.

I did repeat the process several times with different files created on different computers/phone apps. Same result. The odd thing is that Drive said the file was transferred successfully and the XT alerted that it received the file. But still nothing in the XT.

I'm going to reboot the computer and all my devices and tray again.

But a question. Do you have any trips listed in Trip Planner? Any at all ?

If the answer is 'no', then create one using the Xt screen. A start, an end, name it and save it. See if that makes a difference.
I haven't encountered this with trips, but that problem exists with Saved locations / Favourites. ie, if there isn't one already stored, then it sometimes doesn't bother looking for others.

Worth trying. But your first remedy should always be the cold restart - long press the power button and confirm you want to turn off. Then restart. It forces a rebuild of any missing essential files. (I think).
