Tell me about it... There're billions of traffic lights. Many intersections we have consists of over 10 lights hanging over a normal intersection. Some roundabouts do exist especially on the newly build intersections, but they're far and apart. Many Americans prefer the lights and the stop signs as they are lost when it comes to a roundabout. And don't get me started on the 4-ways stops we have many.
I was only poking fun. Though roundabouts do speed up traffic and crashes on them tend to be at low speed and at oblique angles. That said, when I was 22 in 1983 I had the misfortune to enter the roundabout in Paris at the Arc de Triomphe I went round it 3 times before I got off and still didn't get the correct exit.....think national lampoons!! Yeah, I've noticed it too. Around the arch there maybe 6 lanes of traffic and there aren't markers to know what lane you're in. It's a freeform, lol. Surprisingly, Garmin hasn’t included something as basic as traffic light info, especially when Google Maps does such a great job with it. Counting intersections is a clever workaround, but it would be nice to have that visual aid right on the GPS. Hopefully, future updates will address this. Safe travels!I use Google maps on my phone when I drive my car. They show which intersection has traffic lights. I just count how many lights till I have to turn. Makes life so much easier. I'm very surprised garmin doesn't support such a fundamental feature
