Having Garmin zumo XT problems? there is loads of help and advice in this forum

Ah... Ok. Just searched for 'Do not attempt'.

I also could not find an American English language file in the Zumo XT text folder.

I edited the en_GB.glx file removing the original Warning screen text and added my contact info.

With American English selected for Text Language it displayed the Garmin's warning text.

When I switched the language to British English it displayed my contact info as shown in attached photo.

It appears British and American English have separate .glx files contrary to thoughts in a previous post.

If anyone knows the American English file name let me know.

American English and American Text/Keyboard are hard coded into Garmin devices I believe, prevents them being completely useless if a user somehow deletes all languages etc.

You won't therefore find separate files.

keyboard has an editable file...en_US.kbd in keyboards folder

Thanks for clarifying. Must be the text that is hard coded then.
